Inspired by the geology of the Inyo Craters and the cinder cones in the Sierra Nevada, this series of hand-built vessels is designed to evoke the purity and rawness of these geological formations. Each piece is fired in a gas kiln twice, reaching a maximum temperature of cone 5 (2200°F).

Materials used include mineral-rich stoneware, underglaze, and flux.

Fired in a gas kiln two times, the top temperature is cone 5/2200°F.
